Howard, or “Howie” as family and friends know him, grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago as the oldest of three children. After graduating high school he attended Arizona State University. He graduated with a degree in Business in 1989 and shortly afterwards entered the financial world as an investment manager. He married in 1994 and has two children.
In August 2002, shortly after his 35th birthday, something rather remarkable happened, the first of two events that he now describes as “peak experiences.” These were extensive and astonishing shifts in awareness that happened instantaneously. The result for Howie was an immediate release from all disharmony and fear in life. He perceived a connection and oneness emanating from everything in the world. Each object in existence was revealed for its complete purpose and perfection. The experience of peace and tranquility pervaded every part of him.
Startled at what had happened, and having little prior knowledge of either religion and spirituality or quantum physics, Howie set out to research the phenomenon. Four months later, a second, even more expansive peak experience took place, during which the core condition underlying all human joy and suffering was revealed to him. This experience took him over three years to fully process. The depth of this new insight unveiled the answers to many of the larger questions that humanity asks on a regular basis, such as “Who am I?” “Why am I here?” and “Why do I suffer?”
For Howie, one of the most shocking and exciting revelations of his peak experiences is that all of the answers to our questions already exist and are available to everyone. Regardless of the current set of circumstances we find ourselves in we are never denied true peace in our lives if that is what we intend. We only have to realize that each of us is both capable and worthy of it.
Since that incredible period in his life, it has been Howie’s desire to honor the information he learned by offering it to others who are interested in achieving peace in their own lives. His daily intent is simply to offer what has been revealed to him to all of those who desire to know it. His new book, I AM; The Power of Discovering Who You Really Are is scheduled to be released very soon.
Howie and his family currently reside in Scottsdale, Arizona.
